His path into the industry wasn’t conventional. It took ten years to complete his electrical apprenticeship — not due to ability, but because real life landed hard and early. That experience shaped the resilience he’s known for today. Once he committed, he qualified, stepped fully into the field, and within two years moved from employee to business owner by purchasing an electrical franchise.

Five years later, he backed himself again — exiting the franchise model and launching MJ Electrical, a brand he built from the ground up. That decision unlocked the next phase of his vision. One year after launching MJ Electrical, he founded Ballarat Solar Company, which quickly became a trusted name in residential and commercial solar. He then established BSC Renewables, expanding across Victoria with a clear plan to scale nationally.

His ambition continued to grow with the creation of RenewaGlobe — a company dedicated to taking renewable-energy solutions into the construction industry globally. RenewalGlobe is built to help lead the shift toward cleaner, smarter, more efficient construction power systems and stands as a major pillar in his long-term vision.

Miles also invested in Ultimate Site Solutions after recognising a strategic gap for renewable-focused construction rentals, bringing operational direction and industry experience to strengthen and expand the brand.

He has been recognised with a nomination for Entrepreneur of the Year through the Aaron Sansoni Group, reflecting his leadership, commercial instincts, and ability to build brands that last.
